A new building for the court has been approved, with 165-acre land near the HEC Industrial Complex designated for the development of the high court, a residential complex for judges, and lawyers' chambers.
The project, estimated to cost around Rs. 460 Crores, will also feature an auditorium with a 1000-seat capacity, four conference rooms, eight committee meeting halls, and a separate building for the advocate general and government pleader. Additionally, the Jharkhand High Court began live-streaming virtual hearings on YouTube on 15 December 2021, becoming the sixth court in the country to do so.
