HCL is recruiting for the position of Deputy General Manager with one vacancy located in Kolkata. The salary range for this position is Rs. 1,00,000 to 2,60,000. Applicants must be members of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with at least 17 years of relevant experience, including the last 5 years in a company listed on the NSE or BSE.
Candidates should have knowledge of institutional finance, company law, corporate and secretarial functions, and be familiar with the Companies Act and SEBI regulations. Experience in organizing board meetings and handling board matters independently is essential, with a preference for those experienced in a digital board environment and possessing a law degree.
The maximum age limit for applicants is 54 years. Selection will be based on performance in a personal interview, with candidates shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio. Additional marks will be given for relevant experience and additional degrees. The last date to apply is July 1, 2024.

HCL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Company Secretary-The minimum essential qualification for the posts is as under, Membership of the Institute of the Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
- The minimum required number of years of experience should be in the relevant cadre/discipline/ field.
- Out of the minimum years of experience, i.e., 17 years, the applicant should have the last 5 years of continuous experience in a Company listed at NSE and/or BSE.
- Knowledge of matters pertaining to Institutional Finance, Company Law, Corporate and Secretarial functions and be well versed with the provisions and regulations of the Companies Act and SEBI Rules & Regulations. Experience of handling Board matters such as organizing Board meetings, preparing Board agendas, and minutes, and handling these matters independently. Having good administrative and reasoning skills and be able to cope up with all the responsibilities of a Company Secretary in a listed Company.
- Preference will be given to those who have worked in a digital Board environment and possess a law degree.

Selection Process for HCL Recruitment 2024

- For every completed year of relevant experience beyond the minimum requirement: 1 Mark
- For every additional degree over the minimum essential qualification, only in the relevant cadre/discipline: 1 mark subject to a maximum of 2 Marks.
- In case of a tie in the shortlisting of candidates during scrutiny, to maintain the limit of the zone of consideration, the HCL Rule in this regard shall be applied.
