How to Download HBSE 10th Syllabus 2024-25?

• Go to the Haryana Board's official website- bseh.org.in 2024-25 syllabus class 10.

• Click on the "Student corner" and then select the "Class X" option.

• Now, click on 'Syllabus 2024-25'.

• A separate tab with subject-wise HBSE 10th syllabus 2024-25 PDF file will be available.

• Save and download the syllabus of class 10 HBSE PDF for future use.

• Kavita: This section focuses on the poetry parts of the textbooks. Students will study different poetic forms and analyze poems from various Hindi literature periods.
• Gadyansh: This section covers prose passages. Here, students will learn to analyze different writing styles and understand the central ideas of prose pieces.
• Vyakaran: This section deals with Hindi grammar wherein students will study topics like parts of speech, verb conjugation, sentence structure, and punctuation.
• Rachna: In this section, students will practice various writing formats like essays, letters, reports, and creative writing pieces.

Instructions for Assessment

• There will be Annual Examination based on the entire syllabus.
• The Annual Examination will be of 80 marks and 20 marks weightage shall be for Internal Assessment.

Internal Assessment Criteria

For internal assessment, there will be periodic assessment that would include:

• For 4 marks- Two SAT exams will be conducted and will have a weightage of 04 marks towards the final Internal Assessment.
• For 2 marks- One Half yearly exam will be conducted and will have a weightage of 02 marks towards the final Internal Assessment.
• For 2 marks- Pre-board exam will be conducted and will have a weightage of 02 marks towards the final Internal Assessment.
• For 2 marks- Subject teacher will assess and give maximum 02 marks for CRP (Classroom Participation).
• For 5 marks- A project work to be done by students and will have a weightage of 05 marks towards the final Internal Assessment.
• For 5 marks- Attendance of students will be awarded 05 marks as:

75% to 80%- 01 marks

Above 80% to 85%- 02 marks

Above 85% to 90%- 03 marks

Above 90% to 95%- 04 marks

Above 95% - 05 marks
