The Garhwal Regional Centre in Srinagar, Garhwal, is inviting applications from Indian citizens for a project-based Junior Project Fellow (JPF) position under the project "Water Security in Himalaya through spring-ecosystem assessment and management." The position offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000 plus HRA, with an age limit of 28 years (relaxable as per government norms).
Candidates should have a Master’s degree in RS & GIS, Geography, Geology, Environmental Sciences, Disaster Management, or related fields, with desirable experience in fieldwork in mountainous regions, data collection, compilation, processing, and GIS mapping. Responsibilities include climate vulnerability assessment, RS & GIS analysis, training, report writing, and other assigned tasks.
