If the app isn’t working, first check for FordPass App updates on your mobile device. Additionally, some other methods are provided below to help resolve the issue.

How to Fix Fordpass App not Working Issue?

Here are a few methods to resolve the issue.

• Enable Connectivity:

  • Go to Settings > FordPass Connect > Connectivity Settings.
  • Ensure all toggles are turned on, except possibly the Data For Insurance toggle.

• Check Software Version:

  • Go to Settings > Automatic Updates > View Current Software Version.
  • Verify if your version is Version 3.4 AND Build 23188.
  • If your version is not Version 3.4 AND Build 23188, you’ll need to update it.

• Download the SYNC Update:

  • Visit Ford's website.
  • Enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
  • Download the SYNC update to a USB drive.

• Follow Ford’s Instructions to Install the Update:

  • Follow the PDF guide on Ford’s website to complete the update process on your truck using either a Mac or PC.
