CSIR-CSIO Recruitment 2024 Notification Out for 03 Senior Project Associate, Project Associate II, Check Eligibility at csio.res.in
CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIR-CSIO) has released a notification for the recruitment of 03 positions including Senior Project Associate and Project Associate II. The vacancies are located in Chandigarh. Candidates with qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience or MSc/ MSc(Tech) /M.Tech in Optics/ Applied Optics/ Photonics/ Engineering Physics/ Optical Engineering or equivalent with experience are eligible to apply.
The salary ranges from Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 42,000 per month along with other benefits. The upper age limit varies based on the position. Selection will be based on a written exam, percentage of marks, desirable qualification/experience, or higher qualification. Qualification for CSIR-CSIO Recruitment 2024
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent AND 04 years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organisations and scientific activities and services
- MSc/MSc(Tech)/M.Tech in Optics/Applied Optics/Photonics/Engineering Physics/Optical Engineering or equivalent AND 04 years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organisations and scientific activities and services
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent AND 02 years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organisations and scientific activities and services
Pay Scale for CSIR-CSIO Recruitment 2024
- Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000/- + 18% HRA
- Project Associate – II : Rs. 28,000 + 18% HRA
- Accommodation (subject to availability), food facility and other amenities in campus.
- The guidelines issued by CSIR Headquarters for the projects sponsored by CSIR shall be applicable as per CSIR OM dated 13 August, 2020 and 9th March, 2021 (available on www.csir.res.in).
- CSIR has adopted DST, GoI OM No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10 July 2020 pertaining to guidelines and emoluments of project staff in R&D projects
Age Limit for CSIR-CSIO Recruitment 2024
Upper age limit as on last date of applications: Project Associate – II: 35 years, Senior Project Associate: 40 years. Upper age limit shall be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of applications.
Selection Procedure for CSIR-CSIO Recruitment 2024
- In case a large number of candidates apply for the position, Selection/Screening Committee will have discretion to shortlist the candidates for interview based on written exam or percentage of marks or desirable qualification/ experience or higher qualification or any other criteria deemed fit.
- In respect of equivalence clause in Essential Qualifications, if a candidate is claiming a particular qualification as equivalent qualification for recruitment as per the requirement of advertisement, then the candidate is required to produce order/letter in this regard, indicating the Authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated otherwise the Application is liable to be rejected.
