Eligibility Criteria for CMRL Recruitment 2024
- Must be a B. E / B. Tech graduate from a Govt recognized Institute /University, approved by AICTE / UGC. The incumbent should be an officer from an Organized Group A Technical service in Railways or equivalent service in Metros Should have minimum 25 years of post-qualification experience in Operations & Maintenance in Railways / Metros with minimum 05 years of experience in Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) or equivalent grade
- Must be a B. E / B. Tech or any graduate from a Govt recognized Institute /University, approved by AICTE / UGC. The incumbent should be an officer from an Organized Group A Technical service including IRTS in Railways or equivalent service in Metros The incumbent should be a SAG / Non-Functional SAG or equivalent. Minimum 20yrs of post qualification experience in Operations & Maintenance in Railways/ Metros is essential.
- Must be a B. E / B. Tech from a Govt recognized Institute /University, approved by AICTE / UGC. The incumbent should be a Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) / Non-Functional SAG or equivalent. Minimum 20yrs of post qualification experience in Operations & Maintenance of Signalling & Telecom systems in Railways / Metro is essential
- Must be a B. E / B. Tech or any graduate from a Govt recognized Institute /University, approved by AICTE / UGC. The incumbent should be in Senior Scale of pay or equivalent in the level 11 of the revised pay scale of Rs.67,700 – 1,38,000 (7th CPC) - [Pre Revised Scale in Pay Band 3 of Rs.15,600-39,000 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600/-] or higher Minimum 13 years of post-qualification experience is essential in Operations & Maintenance systems of Railways/ Metros is essential.
- Must be a B. E / B. Tech from a Govt recognized Institute /University, approved by AICTE / UGC. The incumbent should be in Senior Scale of pay or equivalent in the level 11 of the revised pay scale of Rs.67,700 – 1,38,000 (7th CPC) - [Pre Revised Scale in Pay Band 3 of Rs.15,600-39,000 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600/-] or higher Minimum 13yrs of post qualification experience in Operations & Maintenance of Signalling systems in Metro / Railways is essential
- Must be a B. E / B. Tech from a Govt recognized Institute /University, approved by AICTE / UGC. - Must be a B. E / B. Tech from a Govt recognized Institute /University, approved by AICTE / UGC. The incumbent should be in Senior Scale of pay or equivalent in the level 11 of the revised pay scale of Rs.67,700 – 1,38,000 (7th CPC) - [Pre Revised Scale in Pay Band 3 of Rs.15,600-39,000 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600/-] or higher Minimum 13yrs of post qualification experience in Design, Erection ,Testing and Commission of Power System and Over head lines in Railway / Metros / Power Utilities in Electricity boards is essential
- Must be a B. E / B. Tech (Civil / Mechanical) from a Govt recognized Institute /University, approved by AICTE / UGC. The incumbent should be in Senior Scale of pay or equivalent in the level 11 of the revised pay scale of Rs.67,700 – 1,38,000 (7th CPC) - [Pre Revised Scale in Pay Band 3 of Rs.15,600-39,000 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600/-] or higher Minimum 13yrs of post qualification experience in Project execution / Operations / Maintenance of civil & track works in Railways/ Metros

Age Limit for CMRL Recruitment 2024
Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu, is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) responsible for implementing the Metro Rail Project in Chennai. Pay Scale for CMRL Recruitment 2024
- The deputationist shall have the option either to draw pay being drawn in the parent organization with deputation allowance and project allowance at 10% of Basic Pay each. or
- To draw equivalent cadre IDA, pay scale in CMRL with IDA, HRA and Cafeteria Allowance (20% of Basic Pay).
