Central Bank of India is seeking retired officers for engagement as advisors in various capacities across its regional, zonal, and central offices for the fiscal year 2024-25. Eligible candidates must have retired from Central Bank of India's service upon reaching the age of 60 on or before May 1, 2024, with a clean track record and no history of major penalties or being listed in the Officer in Doubtful Integrity (ODI) List.
Applicants should be in good health and not exceed the age of 63 as of May 1, 2024. The contract period is initially for one year, extendable up to two additional years, not exceeding the age of 65. Retired officers will receive fixed monthly remuneration based on their location category.
Applications must be submitted by May 31, 2024, to the General Manager, HCM Department, Central Bank of India, Mumbai. Termination clauses include failure to fulfill assigned tasks satisfactorily or lack of integrity, with a 30-day notice period for both parties. Applications received after the deadline or incomplete will not be considered.

Eligibility Criteria for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2024
- The Officer should have retired with good track record and no major punishment/penalty should have been inflicted on the retired Officer during five years of his service in the Bank preceding his retirement and no minor punishment/penalty should have been inflicted on the retired Officer during three years of his service in the Bank preceding his retirement.
- An Officer must not have been named in the Officer in Doubtful Integrity (ODI) List during five years of his service in the Bank preceding his retirement. Also, the retired Officer should not have any crime record.
- The Officer voluntary retired/ resigned/ suspended/ dismissed/ terminated/ who have left the bank otherwise before superannuation are not eligible for consideration for engagement.
- The retired officer should be of sound health.
- The retired officer services will be considered in the respective scale at the time of their retirement
Age Limit for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2024
- The Officer who retired from Central Bank of India’s Service on attaining superannuation at the age of 60 years on or before 01.05.2024.
- The retired officer should not be more than 63 years of age as on 01.05.2024.
Pay Scale for Central Bank of India Recruitment 2024
Retirees engaged in various categories of locations will receive a fixed monthly remuneration, regardless of their Scale. The amount allocated depends on the location category. For those in Rural/Semi-Urban areas, the fixed pay component is set at Rs 25,000/-. In Urban areas, retirees will receive Rs 35,000/- monthly, while those in Metro locations will receive Rs 45,000/-.
