Applications are being sought for temporary positions within the DST-SEED ST-HUB project titled "Development of Climate Resilient Farming Clusters for the Improvement of Economic Status of Tribals in Pachamalai Hills in Uppiliapuram Block, Tiruchirappalli District of Tamil Nadu State" at the Centre for Climate Change Research (CCCR), Department of Environmental Biotechnology, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.
The project spans three years (2024-2027) and offers opportunities for candidates to enroll in a Ph.D. program. The available positions include one Research Associate-I (RA-I) requiring a Ph.D. in Agriculture Science/Plant Biotechnology/Botany with experience in millet processing and millet-based food processes;
One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) requiring an M.Sc. in Agriculture Science/Environmental Science/Botany/Environmental Biotechnology with experience in Agroclimatology and Soil science; and two Project Assistants (PA) requiring an M.Sc. in Environmental Science/Environmental Biotechnology/Botany with relevant experience in Agroclimatology and Soil science. Salaries range from ₹20,000 to ₹42,000 per month, with additional HRA. - Research Associate-I: ₹42,000/-+7,560 (18% HRA)= ₹ 49,560/-per month

- Project Assistant (PA): ₹ 20,000/-+3,600 (18% HRA)= ₹23,600/-per month
