Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has announced recruitment for the position of Project Engineer-I in Ghaziabad. There are a total of 20 posts available with a consolidated monthly salary ranging from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 55,000, depending on the year of engagement. The engagement period is initially for three years, extendable up to four years based on project needs and performance.
Applicants must hold a B.E/B.Tech degree in Computer Science with at least 55% for GEN/EWS/OBC candidates and a pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in C++, Java, SW Testing, SW Documentation, Python, etc. The maximum age limit is 32 years for General and EWS candidates, with relaxations of up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Candidates from SC, ST, and PwBD categories are exempt from the application fee of Rs. 472, which must be paid via SBI Collect for others. The selection process includes a Written Test (85% weightage) followed by an interview (15% weightage) for shortlisted candidates. Applications must reach BEL by 28th June 2024 via registered post or courier. Qualifications Details for BEL Recruitment 2024
- B.E /B.Tech (4 year course) Engineering degree in Computer Science from recognized university/Institution/College with 55% & above for GEN/EWS/OBC candidates & Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates
- Candidate should possess minimum ‘Two years’ related to C++, Java, SW Testing, SW Documentation Python etc.
Age Limit for BEL Recruitment 2024
- The age limit should be not more than 32 years for General & EWS candidates
- The upper age limit will be relaxable for OBC candidates by 03 years and SC/ST candidates by 05 years. For candidates belonging to PwBD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned
Pay Scale for BEL Recruitment 2024
- Engagement Period: Project Engineers– I will initially be engaged for three years, extendable up to a maximum of four years based on project requirements and individual performance.
- Consolidated Remuneration:
- 1st Year: Rs. 40,000/- per month
- 2nd Year: Rs. 45,000/- per month
- 3rd Year: Rs. 50,000/- per month
- 4th Year: Rs. 55,000/- per month
- Additional Benefits:
- Area Allowance: 10% of consolidated remuneration per month, applicable only to engineers posted at various sites and customer locations.
- Additional Benefits: Rs. 12,000/- per year towards insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.

- Application Fee: Rs. 472/- (Rs. 400 + 18% GST)
- Candidates belonging to SC, ST & PwBD categories are exempted from payment of application fee.
- Payment Method: The application fee should be remitted through SBI Collect, which is an online payment gateway. Candidates are advised to refer to the detailed instructions and screenshots provided for making the payment.

Selection Process for BEL Recruitment 2024
- Candidate should meet the eligibility criteria as specified in the advertisement.
- Selection will be through a Written Test followed by interview (of those who are shortlisted in the written test). 85% Marks will be allotted for the written test and 15% Marks for the interview. Candidates who pass the written test will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:5 in the order of merit, category and discipline.
- The dates of the selections, timings and venue will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates through e-mail only.
- The names of candidates shortlisted for written test/interview and final selection will be notified on our Company’s website.
