The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced recruitment for 2 Lecturer positions in Civil Engineering at Government Polytechnics under the Department of Higher and Technical Education, with a salary in the Pay Band-3 of Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of Rs. 5,400/-.
Candidates must hold a 1st Class Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology or a Master's Degree with equivalent qualifications at the Bachelors or Masters level. The age limit for applicants is below 35 years as of July 12, 2024, with relaxations applicable as per Arunachal Pradesh government norms.
Interested candidates, particularly APST category, are required to pay a fee of Rs. 150/- for application, while PwD candidates are exempted from the fee. The selection process will include a Viva-Voce/Interview, and if necessary, a Recruitment Test, tentatively scheduled for the 4th week of July 2024. Qualifications Details for APPSC Recruitment 2024
1st Class Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology OR If the candidate has a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering/Technology, 1st Class or equivalent is required at Bachelors OR Masters Level.
Age Limit for APPSC Recruitment 2024
The age limit for the position of Lecturer at APPSC is set at not exceeding 35 years as of July 12, 2024. However, the upper age limit may be relaxed in accordance with directives issued by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh as per prevailing norms.
Pay Scale for APPSC Recruitment 2024
The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites online application from Citizens of India for filling up of 2 (two) posts of Lecturer in Civil Engineering, Govt. Polytechnic under the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Arunachal Pradesh in the Pay Band-3 215600-39100/- with Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of 2 5400/- (Pre-revised).
Application Fee for APPSC Recruitment 2024
Candidates are required to pay fee of Rs. 150/- (Rupees One Hundred Fifty) only for APST candidate only. PwD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee as per Section 19 of the Arunachal Pradesh Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018.
Selection Process for APPSC Recruitment 2024
The selection will be made through Viva-Voce/Interview. (Total marks -100) In case the number of applicants is more than the desired ratio, the Commission may conduct a Recruitment Test, the details of which will be notified separately. Recruitment Test, if conducted may be objective/subjective examination in concerned subject and will be tentatively held in 4th week of July, 2024. The syllabus and scheme for the examination will be made available on the Commission's website in due course of time.

- Before filling the Online Application Form for the post advertised, a candidate must mandatorily register forOne Time Registration
- Candidates are required to apply online on https://.appsc.gov.in. Detailed instructions for One Time Registration (OTR) and Online Application are available on the APPSC website (https://.appsc.gov.in). The applicants are advised to submit only single application, however, if due to any unavoidable situation, he/she submits another/multiple applications, the application with the highest Registration ID (RID) will be accepted by the Commission.
- Therefore, the highest RID application should be complete in all respects. The fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID. (4) Applicants in Government Service should also apply directly on the APPSC website.
- Such applicants have to upload a copy of intimation submitted to their respective Heads of Department or NOC issued by the department.
- The online application submission link shall be active from 1700 hours on 13.06.2024 till last date of submission i.e. before 1700 hours on 12.07.2024 on the APPSC website.
