Anna University is seeking applications for the position of Project Associate-1 in Chennai with a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000 plus 24% House Rent Allowance, in line with SERB norms. The ideal candidate should hold a First Class M.E./M.Tech. degree in relevant fields such as Communication Systems, Wireless Communication, Applied Electronics, Embedded System Technologies, Computer Science and Engineering, or Information Technology, demonstrating a strong commitment to research.
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and experience in AI/Machine Learning or Physical Layer Security projects. The selection process involves a written test and/or interview, with shortlisted candidates notified via email.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to register for a Ph.D. program at Anna University. Interested applicants must submit their filled application forms, along with necessary documents, to Dr. K Gunaseelan at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, by June 18, 2024, 5:00 pm.

Qualifications Details for Anna University Recruitment 2024
- First Class in M.E. / M. Tech. (Communication Systems/ Wireless Communication / Applied Electronics / Embedded System Technologies/ Computer science and Engineering / Information Technology / Any Specialization related to the Project field with a strong commitment and motivation to pursue research in the subject area
- Candidates having knowledge and experience in AI/MACHINE LEARNING/ Physical layer security related projects will be preferred
Pay Scale for Anna University Recruitment 2024
Anna University is offering a position for Project Associate-1 with a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000 plus 24% House Rent Allowance (HRA), as per the norms set by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB). This position entails a single vacancy, and the selected candidate will receive a total emolument comprising the base salary and the specified HRA percentage.
Selection Process for Anna University Recruitment 2024
- Short-listed candidates will be called for a written test &/or interview. No TA/DA will be given to candidates for attending the interview
- The date and time of the interview will be informed later to the candidates by email only. Candidates should appear for interview along with their original certificates and other relevant documents
- The selected candidate is also permitted to register for the Ph.D. programme at Anna University, Chennai.
