The All India Institute of Medical Sciences Kalyani (AIIMS Kalyani) is a public hospital and medical school located in Saguna, Kalyani, West Bengal, India. It is one of the AIIMS and Institutes of National Importance.
The institute was announced in 2014 and approved on 7 October 2015, with construction commencing in 2016. According to a notification from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare published in The Gazette of India on 24 January 2018, it was established by the Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) initiative. AIIMS Kalyani commenced operations in 2019, being one of six AIIMSs to do so autonomously that year.
The institution features a 960-bedded super specialty hospital with a medical college. The hospital and AYUSH have 920 beds, with the remaining 40 beds in the OPD. The super specialty hospital comprises 34 departments, including Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry, Anatomy, Cardiology, and Physiology.
AIIMS Kalyani serves as an undergraduate and postgraduate institution, enrolling 211 students annually. The MBBS intake is 125 starting from 2020, with selection conducted through NEET(UG). Additionally, there is a B.Sc. Nursing College.
